First day of the Inservice course

The course was inaugurated by Prof  C. A. Augustine, former HOD, DLIS, University of Kerala.

He presented the paper  “New Age Librarianship” and discussed in detail about the changing concepts of Librarians from information manager to knowledge Manager.

In the afternoon session participants presented their assigned papers followed by a demonstration of the “Libsoft” Library management software.
